You guys who continually post the anti-Christian stuff come off like a disgruntled guy who continually whines about his ex-girlfriend because she dumped him.

Come to think of it I have been dumped by a few girls in the past who decided they couldn't have a serious future with someone who wasn't bound for the Kingdom of Gawd.

Christians are idiots. They annoy me so bad I simply can't stop venting about it. If I meet a person and then they tell me that they're a practicing Christian, my respect-o-meter crashes through the floor.

I'm deeply sorry if you're an aforementioned idiot, hope you come around soon.

A girlfriend that has dumped you does not stand out in public singing and waving her hands like an idiot. An ex-girlfriend doesn't run after you, trying to hand you pamphlets about how great she is. An ex-girlfriend who preaches 'intelligent design' or 'creationism' does not deserve to be your girlfriend as she will hamper any possible offspring's intelligence.

Why would you make a comment like that?

there are a lot of bible thumpers on this site, aren't there? if i bother reading threads here, i often find some heavy overtones of baptists feeling each other out.

and why do baptists insist on calling themselves 'christians'? is it like the mormons having a psuedonym for their freaky church? i've never heard a catholic identify themself as a 'christian.'

I am not anti-Christian at all. I consider some of the Koreans not behaving in the spirit of Christ if I am walking in a subway and in a hurry and some fellow yells behind me "Do you believe in Jesus Christ?!" That is being religiously offensive. Jesus was not about pushing himself on people, it is not part of Jesus. It needs to be knocked off, but I do have a lot of respect for Yeshua Mashiha/Jesus Christ, but not people lying about surveys to trick you, screaming his name in vain at you etc...

*parody*

When you're dealing with people (chrisitans) like this, they're insured up the ass. They're not supposed to give you any resistance whatsoever. If you get a bible thumper or a priest wannabe who thinks he's Charles Bronson, take the butt of your gun and smash their nose in.

Drops 'em right to the floor. Everyone jumps, he falls down, screaming, blood squirts out his nose. Freaks everybody out. Nobody says puckin shit after that. You might get some bitch talk shit to ya. But give her a look, like you're gonna smash her in the face next. Watch her shut the puck up. Now if it's a mormon, that's a different story.
The mormons know better than to puck around. So if one's givin you static, he probably thinks he's a real cowboy. So what you gotta do is break that son-of-a- bitch in two. If you wanna know something and he won't tell you, cut off one of his fingers. The little one. Then you tell 'im his thumb's next. After that he'll tell ya if he wears ladies underwear. I'm hungry, let's get a taco.

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gosepl of the kingdom of God,
And saying, Repent ye, and believe the gospel.

[And Jesus said] And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgement, then for that city.

Bassexpander - not the best simile I have ever come across (in fact I'm struggling a little with exactly how it's like someone being dumped by an ex girlfriend...) but I generally understand where you are coming from.

My point (and, I suspect, this is a view shared by a lot of people) is that religious extremism is any form can be really scary (moral police, suicide belts etc) or really funny (see the Top 100 post). If you can't admit those people are taking it too far and hence their comments are worthy of a good laugh then I think you have lost some perspective.

All organized religions are scams, rackets, placaters for weak minds. All religions are equally worthless.
Here is what i dont understand about christians. They believe that after death they will go to heaven and be saved. Yet they try to persuade many others to be saved and join them in heaven. Dont they care about overcrowding. Less people up there means more heavenly delight for them. If it was me I would try to save just a few good buddies and all the hot chicks I could find. Oh and a good beer brewmaster.

I'd much rather have someone asking me questions about life and history and faith than some mad faithless bugger trying to slash me with a knife. I'd much rather the World was full of Christians than crazy people, as there seem to be many also.
So, I don't pay no mind. Bible thumpers don't bother me.

I'm just trying to help, not trying to embarass you...
Very Happy

few/fewer - less/little
These words are frequently swapped for eachother in speech and writing.

Fewer should be used when referring to a number of objects or people (i.e. with a plural noun):
There were fewer people in the pool today.
Less should be applied to any singular item or unit:
Diet experts advise us to put less salt on our food.
We say Less sugar, and fewer people.
Less traffic, fewer cars. etc.

Embarrasment rating 8/10
How to avoid: Fewer indicates a smaller number, less a smaller amount.

Maybe the Christians and 'anti-christians' should meet up and have a speed-dating session. It is Valentine's Day.
