They want you to work in the place of a Korean professor? You have your Ph.D, right?

Are you a professor, or just a uni instructor? As far as I know, there is a difference.

More info needed.

Yet another one of those cases where someone asks for simple help and they get a lot of wiseass responces.

Who cares whether someone uses the term professor or not. It is just a word. The real question is how does he find someone at the university he works for.

Obviously, they are not advertising for the position and the staff doesn't know anyone who might be looking for a job at the momment.

It is that rare chance when someone could get into a uni gig because there is a last minute opening.

If I were looking for a job right now, I'd pm the op.

When they call me a professor, you know what I say? I say, "Yes, I'm a professor. Do you want to know what I profess?"

They always want to know.

That's when I say, "I profess that I am an only an English lecturer!"
