Things are becoming hectic now as my contract is up at the end of February. Unfortunately I've yet to get my pension situation squared away. ( I was informed by my Korean co-teacher just recently that I'm to purchase the ticket from the agent and present it to a person of authority. At this point I'll be reimbursed for the ticket. ) If this is true I'll be headed to the pension office on Feb 25; just days before my departure.
The required documents are my passport, alien card, and ticket. What about bank account information? Will my account number upon a number of statements do? Or must I present my bank book from the states?
Please help me out here. I know I'm going to need the money. Help!!! |

I'm actually in the same situation. I've been told that I need my passport, alien reg card, flight ticket/receipt, and bank account info from home. I've been told that printing off a copy of a statement with my account number and name on it from my bank account back home will do. Recommend having your co-teacher join you although if he's as incompetent as mine is it may not help you much. I think my Korean is better than his...
EDIT:
Just found this post. Very useful:
