Not sure on these and am being told by my school (Public School) that I can't have them until 1 month after I leave. Ordinarily not a problem but the gov't will not deposit them to my American account. A korean from the school wants to withdraw it from my Korean account after its deposited, then wire it to me in America. Doesn't make any sense...

Apparently I get my pension refund sooner than both...

It should be paid out on your last regular payday or the last day of your contract.

Contact your provincial liason (you didn't say if you were EPIK, GEPIK or SMOE) and get it straightened out ASAP.

Check your contract, you should get everything on your last day except the pension. I've seen other posters here claim they were sent it to their home countries bank account.

MAKE SURE you apply for your pension refund in the last 30 days BEFORE you leave. It is a b1tch to apply for AFTER you have gone.

You will need a copy of your ARC and your one way out-of-Korea plane ticket when you apply for it.

You will also need the bank information for them to send it to (they will send it to out of country banks).
