Hello Mobile WiFi device holders,
I am thinking about getting a mobile WiFi device on my next trip to America. I have read posts here that people see about 80% WiFi connectivity rate in Seoul, sounds good.
Can people get on the Korean websites with their WiFi devices (like Itouch)? Notably the Seoul Bus map and route finder:
http://bus.congnamul.com/SeoulRouteWebApp/view_english/map.jsp
I ask because most Korean websites that I use (maps. Banks, whypaymore) will only work on Windows Internet Explorer; they dont work on Firefox. The Seoul bus map route finder wants to install an ActiveX controller by Twinkle Little Star. This loads and runs best for me only in Windows Internet Explorer.
Using mobile WiFi devices, can you run windows internet explorer and install those incessant Korean ActiveX controllers? Are you able to access that really handy Seoul bus route finder?
Thanks so much |

That's Korea for you. Heavily oversaturated with scary Active-X programs. You won't be able to get much done without installing them. That's why I have a dumpy old computer on the side that I don't care about what gets installed on it. |
