Is it ok for me to enter Korea on a one-way ticket? (I have an E2 visa). I was at a travel agency to book a flight this morning and they told me that maybe its necessary to have a return ticket or they could send me back as soon as I arrive. |

Just flew from China to Seoul on a one way ticket. I got my three month tourist visa on arrival. No problems. |

You don't need a return ticket if you have a visa, just tell them that you have a 1 year work visa. |

In my experience you don't need a return ticket. I entered the country as a tourist and nobody batted an eye. |

An E2 is a long term, residential/working visa. A return ticket is NOT required for entry and you will not be turned away except by a check-in agent in your home country who is too lazy to look in the book to determine that you do NOT need a return ticket.

I entered Korea on a tourist visa and a one-way plane ticket in 2007...no problems at immigration at all. |
