Friends and colleagues,

Fortune's been good to me. I've just about reached the point where money no longer matters and I can take the first flight out of Korea without looking back.

Well, almost. Another few paychecks here will not go unappreciated.

My question:

If money were no object, would you stay in Korea?

I can see myself coming back here for the occasional brief visit in spring or fall. A few nights in the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon, a bit of shopping, a few visits to some favorite restaurants in the area . . .

But seriously, is there anyone out there who would make Korea a permanent home if money were no object?

Just wondering.

If money were no object but I still needed to work I could think of loads (heaps even) of countries that I would find more interesting.

If I stuck with the Chica, and she wanted to stay in Korea, I wouldn't break up with her in my mad rush for the airport.

I'd consider staying. But, I also would like to stay in 50 other countries. If only I had 50 lives to live.

If I were rich I'd live in Turkey and travel a lot, but not to Korea.

This is the last place I would be if I had any amount of money at all.

Korea can be ALOT of fun if you have money and aren't working.

However, so are quite a few other places.. its not my idea of a good time to just be stationary anywhere even in the places I really like.. you'll get bored of them.

So, of course, I'd be out a-wandering..

It's a big world with a lot of places to go to and see, but if I had money at this moment I'd stay in Korea for at least 3 more years.

People, people.

The only thing that makes Korea crap is the job we have... And the possibility of nuclear obliteration... but other than that, it's a good place to chill.

If money weren't an object, I'd still be here because of my fiancee. I'd fly home every once in a while, though.
