Hey, anyone know anything about how to access small craft, in ANY city that's on the water in Korea? I'd travel to be able to take a 4 or 5 meter boat out for a few hours.
I checked with a hotel that listed sailing once, and they wanted 300,000 won for a full day with a hired captain on a 10 meter boat. I said "How much for a full day with a 5 meter boat that I sail myself?" They said "Same price."
Where I'm from, you can rent a little twelve or fourteen footer for ten bucks an hour. I'm not expecting to get those kind of prices, but hell, even 25,000 won an hour would be cheaper, and since you can BUY a boat this size for $1500, it seems like 300,000 won a day is a little overpriced.
Anyone sail in Korea? Incheon, Busan, Pohang, wherever. Information would be much appreciated. |
