I realize this is probably on "newbie" forum but couldn't find answers??
I am supposed to start teaching in Busan, SK March 1st. My documents apparently have been lost in the mail and i lost my tracking info when i sold me car (dumb-ass)
I have copies for all of my pertinent info to start the process of obtaining an E2 Visa with the exception of "original" Degree and my "local" (?) background check that I was never told had to be "apostilled" in the 1st place ????? Does my background check have to be State/Federal ??? I was told by the Director of the school I will be working @, a local background check is ok? Is this true? i MOST DEFINATELY DON'T WANT TO GO THRU THIS BS AGAIN!!!!!
Also,
Is there any way to track/call someone about my documents floating @ out there somewhere???? Do I have to drive 6 hours to Chicago to interview in person w/ the Korean Consulate? Phone interview??
Help anyone??? |

I believe you need an in person interview for the visa. There haven't been any exceptions so far.
If you tracked your documents than can you not go to who you mailed it with (like Fed Ex) and get the tracking # by giving your information?
Other than, it beats me how you will ever find your documents... but you can get a copy of your degree for a fee from your university and another CRC.
It's just gonna delay your start date. |
