What if your boss asks you to "do a favor," for her while you are on an E2 Visa, where you would be going to a second school, not owned by her, but still teaching for her friend? Would that be illegal?

Yes, if you don't have immigrations approval in the form of an ammendment to the back of your ARC card.

If the 2nd school is on the back of your ARC then it's legal. If you are doing it without going to immigration then it's illegal. YOU are the one that will get in trouble. YOU are the one who will get a red flag (Black flag in Korea) on your file (best case) or get fine and/or deported.

Tell your boss the rules. If she want to do it legal then it's all good. Make sure you get more than your OT pay.
