Ever get to that point? What? Are they speaking English over there?
Of course, they aren't, but at first......
And.....
Brings me to the point....
Of nothing, realllllly....
Sounds like it. |

Sometimes I can't tell if they are speaking in Korean or in French. This has happened to me a few times in the last month. |

I got that in Taiwan. There's some similarities, I think. Between French and Chinese. Must be the lack of diphtongs. And some vowels are the same. I dunno. It all fks me up sometimes living in Quebec, then Taiwan, and now here. For long periods of time in each place.
I swear it sounds like they're speaking English sometimes and I think, "Hey, another foreigner!" But I don't really want to see another foreigner. Not in my small town. They might think I'm more than an idiot than I already am for talking to them.
Strangee. |

I watched Atonement the other day. Near the very beginning of the film, a man enters the room but he didn't say what I had expected. I was shocked, for a split second, that he didn't say annyonghaseyo until I realized my error. |
