|
|
I am getting reading to start searching for a new apartment and at the same time considering keeping the dog I've been fostering. If an apartment says "no dogs", is there any wiggle room? Back home if I would want to, in most cases I could just pay a little extra in deposit or rent. What about here? Can I buy the landlord a present? Introduce her to the small, silent, adorable dog? Or just see if I can get away with having him in my apartment? He never, ever barks, always does his business outside, etc. - will that info help change the mind of the landlord? Any information would be helpful, thanks! |

You should be able to find a place that allows dogs esp small ones. Just put it in your criteria for your next place and go see a lot of places like I did in my quest for a place with parking, a place to grill, and a dishwasher. (I hate doing them by hand) Seoul is a big place so I wouldn't really worry too much. If you have your heart set on a place just keep looking another will come along that is just as nice. Just don't wait till the last minute. |

If you can get a real estate agent to help you, tell them you have a dog & you need somewhere that allows pets. You would be amazed how many places are quite happy for tenants to have pets.
When I moved here I asked my real estate agent to find me a place that allowed me to keep my golden retriever and two cats, she showed me 20 places the next afternoon.
And mrsquirrel: I have met NicRenee - she is indeed well fit |
