What's up people!!!
My travel agent couldn't find any tix for Bali or Phuket...apparently they're booked for Feb. 25
So, does anyone have the 411 on any sites or agents....
i wouldn't mind going to nam (Viet) either

| just got back from bali... i used zenith and it was OK... i would recommend NOT booking the hotel through them, however... the hotel they partner with is under massive construction (neglected to tell me this) and they probably charged me a 40% premium over the direct booking rate. my advice: forget a travel agency, and go directly through Garuda Indonesia and book a hotel on your own and save a few hundred bucks. |

There are lots of flights to BKK and catch a domestic flight flight from there for Phuket. Domestic flights within SE Asia are dirt cheap.
Again, for Bali, book a flight with your favorite airline (probably not a direct/non-stop) and catch your hotel locally. |

Hey guys!! Thanks for the tip...actually my co-worker hooked me up ...
she saved me 2 bills...bless her
but..i have some ??
- I plan on winging it for a place to stay near the beach....Would that be ok???? b/c im mostly going to bodyboard while im there
- Is it ok to bring Korean Won instead of usd???? i hear it is
- Is it credit card friendly???? Don't want to bring much cash
any other words of wisdom would be great.....
Cheers guys.....can't wait to hit the beach and be a bum!! hehe |
