There is no place you can send an e-mail in English and be assured of getting an/any answer back. |

There is no place you can send an e-mail in English and be assured of getting an/any answer back. |
Actually, you can send a message to the English immi website message board, and all the messages get answered. |

It is a PUBLIC forum and people may not want to post personal details when requesting information. |

It's possible to post a private message to Immi on that that board. When you compose the message, make sure you select N on the "Open" option. That way, it will be locked and your alien registration number and password will be required to read the question and the response from Immi. |

YES, it is email. Have you actually used it? Didn't you notice that 2/3rds of the responses are private and can't be read by anyone without logging in? You can set an option to allow anyone to read your email, but you don't have to. That doesn't constitute a PUBLIC forum, any more than my apartment is a PUBLIC place, because I can leave my front door open. |
