My contract with the public school is dated from February February 25,2008 until February 24, 2009. I thought Public Schools start March 3rd.

A year is a year right? What's the problem. You start of your work with a 3 day vacation (paid). Can't beat that.

I just ask because my contract with my present employer ends on February 28. School is finished and I have no more teaching to do. However, I am wondering if this will interfere with transferring the visa over.

That timing is smack dab in the middle of spring vacation. Just the end of the official school year and just before the beginning of the next school year.

Is your contract with GEPIK? GEPIK hires new teachers all year round. Just remember, your pay starts from the first date on the contract, NOT the first day of school.
