RealClearPolitics has it Obama 46.3% to 42% Clinton.

I think it will be more like a 10-15% spread.

I don't know about how the rest of the state turned out, but Hilary canceled in Eau Claire. On the day Obama spoke, about 4000 people waited in a line that meandered 1/2 a mile up a huge hill and through the campus from the basketball gym to the housing buildings. Max capacity of the gym is 3500, so they put loudspeakers outside, and 500 or so people got a greeting from him, then listened to the speech in the snow. The liberals in the state are excited about him.

I'm not going to predict percentages (because I'll be wrong), but I think it's going to be dead close. I hope I'm wrong, but I just have a feeling about it.

I think it'll be close. Polls show it close.

Agreed. The polls have been terrible thus far in the primary season, but they're all we have. Obama by 5%.

It is getting a little cultish. Dare I say, a little Ron Paul'ish.

It's not gonna be close. Obama by 10% at minimum, probably more like 15%. The pollsters' likely-voter models are way off and are not taking Obama's huge national surge into account.

Obama could easily win Hawaii by 30-40% as well. Today's going to be another blowout day for Obama, and the press coverage going into the March 4 primaries will be brutal for Clinton. She made a serious mistake by not campaigning harder in Wisconsin and not going negative sooner. Now her poor showing today will be interpreted as "backlash" for her attacks on Obama, when in fact it will be nothing of the sort.

Get those results posted as soon as they come in. I have a late morning class today, followed by a $^&%# field trip. I'll barely have enough time to check in at noon.

Obama's riding the wave right now. I expect a couple more victories.

Is that the fat lady I hear warming up backstage of the Hillary campaign? (Not to say it will be over today, but Obama's momentum is really building up).

The polls close at 8pm in Wisconsin (11pm here) and the Hawaii Caucus doesn't even start until 7pm (2pm here).

The students have to walk up the mountain (behind our school) to NamHanSan Fortress. I get to drive up as far as the gate. Ya know the Stupid Foreigner Card? I played the Old Man Card. Very Happy

Last year the hike was called for rain one semester and I was hoping for rain/snow today, but no luck there. The other semester many of us got to the top, stayed for 10 minutes for some photos and came down to a dong dong joo restaurant. A fair share of students 'got lost' and never made it to the top--they stumbled across a bar somewhere and indulged in an afternoon of soju.

I wish we could just skip the preliminaries and go straight to the restaurant. Although my present group are not very interesting, especially compared to the group I had for the first 6 weeks of the course. Those guys were a hoot.
