Hillary Clinton supported NAFTA before she was against it. It is amazing that you can claim you were part of something (her husband's presidency) and yet you didn't support what he did.
Then we have the Zerox line from the debate.
The 10 minute tirade in Ohio
And the list goes on.....
By the way, I've read Democratic Underground and the boards are terrible. |

I don't think Hillary could win against McCain. Though some people are angry at the GOP because of George Bush, many would rather elect McCain then have Hillary Clinton as president including some democrats.
Obama, on the other hand, would have a good chance against McCain. |

yeah, everyone is angry at the GOP. but they are rock steady 30%.
will enough women and minorities abandon hillary/barack for john mccain?
hard to fathom that happening. john mccain is 72. john mcccain is keating five. hardcore GOPpies hate him. the hardcore is gonna throw him over and place their bets that obama can be "worked" with. |

From RCP
McCain 47.8
Clinton 43.3
or
McCain 42.8
Obama 47.3
McCain's numbers v. Obama briefly crested after Super Tuesday to a 1.2 point lead, but have been falling since. Obama has such white teeth, you know.
AND
Ohio Dem Primary:
Clinton 50, Obama 42.8--as of 2/21. She's kept her lead steady there since the 16th.
Texas:
Clinton 48.8
Obama 46.0
Not a statistically significant lead but steady since the 15th. |

Put it in perspective though it's not the percentages, but the number of delegates. There are 370 delegates on that one day that are available. Clinton would need to run the board winning 235/135 to break even in the overall count (assuming there were no changes in superdelegates).
She would have to win all four states with a commanding lead AND win over 200 delegates combined in Texas and Ohio (out of 234).
I'd bet money if she wins Ohio it will be by less then 10% and if she wins Texas it will be by less then 5%. The Texas format will slightly favor Obama, so it is possible she wins both by the above percentages, but nets only 15-20 delegates more then him. |
