I was just asked(it's now 3:35pm WED) whether I would like to attend a four night /five day island summer camp in the West Sea. Oh, and they want an answer before finish time today ~ in one hour! My supervisor had the document about this island camp since yesterday. Could he not have given it to me first thing this morning so (at least) I could think about whether to go to the camp or not?
I asked my supervisor whether the island camp had a schedule for this camp ~start time and finish time AND whether the organizers of such a camp have an organized program of activities. Together we searched the document for answers to my inquiries but came up empty. I told my supervisor that without any information about my duties (the duties of all native English speakers) I cannot make an informed decision in such a short time. He clearly understood my point.
Just agreeing to do something without the benefit of any prior information to make an informed decision is CLASSIC. I guess here in Korea you are asked to agree to (or sign)something BUT without the necessary details.
This is the second time I was asked to participate in a summer camp. The first, I had previously done last year and decided to give someone else a chance to experience a summer camp. *it was well organized and we were asked well before the start of the camp to prepare class activities and club activities* This second one I'm afraid I'll pass on principal.

What do you think?
