I STILL haven't received written notice of my "firing." Now this is the interesting part. Apparently, he's being fired too. This is a big establishment, and my direct manager has told me not to worry, that he has no power since he's on his way out, but of course I'm covering my bases. He's dragging his feet on this 30-day written notice, but does that mean once I receive it, I have 30-days of pay from that date coming to me, as well as I can stay in my apartment during that time while looking for another job? I'm not worried about poor treatment in the least, the rest of the school hates him and is glad he's leaving, but I'm curious about what I'm entitled to when the BS starts flowing out of his flapper again.
