Seongnam doesn't have a big support group...I don't know of any foreigner that supports them, there might be some.

You might have more luck down the road with Suwon that has a big foreigner supporters group...

I used to go to Seongnam games. Way back. They were champions for a couple of years running in the early 2000's.

If you're talking about supporting your local team....geographically......then Seongnam, of course, includes Bundang. Where there are about 42 million foreign teachers. Plus, Seongnam Ilwha play their games in Bundang! Was it Yatap or Moran stadium? I always got confused.

Anyway, you Bundangers could have a great old time going to Seongnam home games and getting liquered-up.

With beer you buy inside the stadium of course. The K-League has stated that this year fans will not be allowed to bring their own beer into the grounds.

I used to go to most home games when I lived in Seongnam( the REAL seongnam around Shinheung). To be honest preferred that area compared to Bundang which although modern and fun seemed too sterile for my liking.
But yeah, didnt really meet too many foreigners at the games which was a pity, and you don't get as much of the emotional cheering you get at games back home which is surprising considering the fervor which erupts around world cup time. I still support seongnam so I encourage you all to form a motley crue of cheering yahoos and get season tickets for them!
It is a nice stadium for sipping beers in good weather

Bear in mind that Seongnam will be moving back to the Moran stadium from July as renovation work will begin on the Tancheon stadium at Yatap this summer.
