I've read about the places to get a suit made. Anyone a fatass like me get one done somewhere they would recommend, if so, how much? Where?

Need to get a couple of made soon.

go to Itaewon and walk down the street. You'll get half a dozen guys asking you "you wanna suit? you wanna suit? big size, bigsize!" Just say yes and they'll take care of you for about 100-200 dollars.

I have had several suits made at Western Town Custom Tailoring

Phone: 02-749-7844

The owner speaks quite good English and he won't rip you off. My first suit was $250 (silk), and subsequent suits have been very reasonable. He can get it done relatively fast as well. Here is his email if you want to contact him yourself:

email: [email protected]

Hope this helps.

Yeesh. Is it THAT hard to stay in shape?

How about a diet?

All these "I need fat clothes stores" really piss me off sometimes. If you're fat, change your lifestyle, eat better, look better & find clothing of a proper size.

Fat people disgust me.

Chicken

PS: Yes I know it's not PC to say, but fat people really do piss me off. Even more so when they say it's 'glandular' or some other Oprah style excuse that makes them blameless

Did a fat chick kick you out of bed or something? Why give a crap?

You should be happy for fat people. It makes you look all the more better or some such bullshit.

Please feel free to introduce yourself to me. I'll buy you a beer. I'm sorry for whatever that fat person did to make you mad. Not all of us are evil. So the next pint is on me.

After that, if you still have an issue. I will be free to stick my fat fist down your gullet for you and tickle your skinny insides.

Yep. At the stop light in the middle of the street market, opposite site of the Hamilton hotel, go down the stairs and his shop is on the left at the bottom of the stairway. Mention the guy from Cheongpyeong sent me and he will remember and give you a discount, hopefully. BTW, I do not work for them, but just know he is a straight up guy that does good suits.

Yeah, awesome Rolling Eyes

At least it's nice not to hear about how damn hot it is in summer when they're all winging about not having A/C.

As for the beer, I think I'll pass. The company I keep are far more civilized than the standard "I'll put my hand down your throat! or head kicked in" reply.

'Teachers' my ass, more like transients.

Enjoy the biscuits.

Finding clothes in Korea can be difficult whether you're considered fat or not. Depending on your suit size, you can sometimes buy suits and sportcoats off the rack in itaewon. They do have some large off-the-rack sizes. Probably need some minor alterations though. A decent custom suit (non bespoke) with 2 pants and a decent wool, usually costs me around 350. Always get 2 pants made with your suit, as they wear out before the jacket. I'm sure we all probably have a preferred tailor in itaewon, but I usually go to Paris Tailor. It's in Itaewon, on the main strip, next to Starbucks (across from Hard Rock). I take a lot of my clients there, and they seem pretty satisfied. A good suit for the workplace.
