There are too many recruiters out there to keep track of.
Use them all.
Ask questions directly to teachers on-site.
Never pay for recruiter services.
Never feel pressured to make a hasty decision.
Hold out for what YOU want in terms of student age, location, and, to a certain degree of realism, wages and housing. |

It's a fairly new one with an energetic website. Like all, they know they will be analyzed to death on Dave's, but still get their share. Follow general guidelines fro scrutinizing recruiters and don't think new face or flashy website means anything necessarily good or bad. |

They are a branch of a big company called Woongjin, a company that makes a whole bunch of things in Korea like juices, lock, fridges, etc.
As for their recruiting branch, I'd have to say they are pretty unorganized and unethical. A few friends that I met in town had used them to get public school jobs and after school jobs. There's a whole list of wrongs that they did like....
-losing one of the teachers documents (how does this happen?)
-leaving a group of teachers from the after school program to rot after arriving in Korea. For 2 months, they would not even return an e-mail or a phone call as the teachers were lied to about their apartments and had major problems. Not even 1 reply!
One of them told me that he is boycotting Woongjin because of what they did to him.
In short, they are run like most Korean businesses and that's to make a profit, even at your expense. |
