I am renewing my contract and need to go get my visa renewed. Does anybody know what this will cost? Also my boss wants me to pay for this. This seems odd to me. Is that normal? |

30k won for the extension to your status of sojourn (visa extension)
plus
50k won IF you want to add a multiple re-entry permit at the same time (optional).
The re-entry permit is free if you are from the UK.
It IS required if you are from the US and you want to leave on vacation
(your multi-entry from the original visa does NOT carry over onto the extension).
It is common for teachers to pay their own fees at immigration. |

We pay for our teachers' visa extension (not the re-entry visas though) as well as the criminal checks and notarizing for extending teachers , and the medicals. New applicants have to pay for their criminal checks and apostille, by we still pay for the medical.
I don't know if it is normal though. That is how we do it though. This can all add up to extend your visa. |
