Sooo....can she get a work permit by me offering her work (cleaning/cooking) on my E2 visa in order for her to live in Korea...
I know it sounds crazy but would it be legit or would her employer have to be a Korean citizen? |

| The best way to get her here if you aren't married would be to pay for her to study here. As for tourist visas for Indonesians, I have got them for both my wife before we were married and her mother a number of times over the last few years. The latter was easy as she had means and wasn't deemed a flight risk as she is in her 50s, not likely to seek work, has the means to travel here and has ties back in Indonesia. For my then GF it was a bit harder and the duration of stay is only 30 days. I'd ask you to PM me if you wanted further information, but the mods here have deemed me to risky to be allowed such privideges and thus I can only be of help here. Sorry. |

thanks.
we are in thailand now but were told that we could make her a tourist visa in thailand but the korean embassy here has told us that she must make the visa in indonesia.
therefore we have 3 options-she finds work in korea and gets a work permit, she leaves every 1 month and comes back in to korea, she goes back to indonesia to make the visa.
is there any other country than her own where she can make the korean tourist visa in? |

With all due respect that is bollox. My GF got one in Australia before coming here. Typical bloody know-nothing Korean Embassy staff. |

| ^^^ so you are saying it is flexible like that and she should be able to make one in other countries than where she was born or where her passport sanctifies? |

You can't sponsor another's visa when you are on an E2. |

You will need to start a business before you can sponsor a working Visa, of any kind. |
