Trailer and a lot of clips on this movie about transracial adoption.
Seems to put quite the negative spin on it.

I knew white kids adopted into white familes that had problems fitting in.

Of course some kids in transracial adoptions will grow up a wee bit messed up, but so will some kids that come from divorced or single parent families. So will some kids that come from a normal nuclear family.

I came from a transracial adoption. Sure, I have a few minor issues but it's less intense than...say...someone who has an eating disorder or something.

Moreso than the former these days, I'm willing to bet.

A lot of these would-be parents in the video seem to live in a fantasy land where everyone is equal, racism doesn't exist, and no-one will ever treat their adopted children differently. Do they have no memory of school whatsoever? Because even if you went to an all-white school, you should at least remember how little kids react to any sort of difference.

Maybe it's because they all grew up in a wonderful nurturing postive environment and that's great, but I rather think they're not seeing the issue squarely.

No! I hate math! Why ask me to do it? You're the expert. I hate it when intellectuals ask me to do the math. Are they being motivational or lazy?

I believe it's the latter.
