Hi all,

I am considering another stint in the ROK. I'd like to be close to Seoul because my church is there and a lot of my friends live there also. I am just trying to narrow things down at this point. I am not into the bar scene. I do love nature.

What do you think is a nice local, Ilsan, Uijongbu, (Youngton-Suwon) or______?

Thanks!

I'd say Ilsan.

The area is very new. You have all the shops and restaurants that you would find in Seoul. You have Costco. You also have Lake Park which you can go to exercise via bike/inline skating/running/etc...

The transportation in Ilsan is VERY good with buses that go just about everywhere. Plus the Subway line cuts through the center of Seoul.
