I guess all SK users have had the message about confirming phone registration by the end of March. I went today and was told that it is all coz of 'new laws' and foreigners have to do it or lose service. (Pre-paid phone plan.)

Prob is my phone is a hand-me-down and as the original owner isn't in the country anymore I lose the phone service/number in a month.

Not a major problem as I was planning on upgrading, though I wanted to keep the number. But worth thinking about if u plan to buy a 2nd hand phone.

BTW - I have no comment on why this is (or if this really is) just applicable to foreigners.
