I'm thinking about moving to Seoul next year and I will probably have a small dog with me. I'm looking for a place preferably near a park where I can take my dog for walks. Also, does anyone know if there are any areas specifically set aside where people can bring their dogs to have room to run and play with other dogs? My dog needs an outlet for all her energy.

Certainly no shortage of areas for car chasing if it needs something more intensive than a walk.

Anywhere close to the Han River.

Great area for dogs - most are "on leash" but a few areas allow dogs off leash.

Miles of grassed areas along the riverbank, lovely when the weather warms up.

I recommend Gaepo-dong. Though it's part of pricey Gangnam-gu, there is a lower-price end in the Jugong apts near Gaepo, Daemosanipgu, and Guryong stations. It's near the hills of Daemosan and Guryongsan, and near the Yangjae stream, which beats the Han river hands down for dogs, imho (no cars at all in the park).
