Found this on the facebook discussion forum. Might be useful for some

----------------

Think it would be nice to sit down with someone for 15 minutes who can explain the E2 visa process to you in detail, in English? Well, that's not likely to happen, but hopefully this is a close second.

Here is a 2-part video I posted on Youtube to help answer questions about what you need, where to get it, where to send it, and what it looks like. It lasts about 15 minutes and the hope is at the end of watching it, you'll feel comfortable moving ahead with the E2 process and be clear about what you'll need to do.

The main topics covered:

-Docs you need to prepare

-Apostille info

-VSS and notarizing in Canada

-What to send where and when

-Interview process

-Common mistakes people make that slows the process down

-Japan Visa Run and other info related to second-time E2 visa holders

-Other tips and info on the process

You can watch the two parts and get other more detailed info here:

http://www.asknow.ca/visa.aspx

or, you can watch it directly on Youtube at these links:

Part 1 (10 mins) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjHXc75_jdw

Part 2 (5 mins) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vcyuj_8eiVQ

I hope that helps in your quest to obtain an E2 visa. If you find the video helpful, please comment on it or rate it. Also, if you have a blog or site where it would help others, feel free to distribute.

subtle advertising

the problem with this video is that Jason talks sooooooo slowly. Is he assuming that the average teacher is stupid?
