One man with a metal rolley cart came into my subway car and began his pitch for a small chestnut peeler that looked like a smaller version of a regular potato peeler. Then while he was handing them out and being silent for just about 20 seconds, ANOTHER man with a metal rolley cart came in and began his pitch.

I always knew this meeting of two metal rolley cart salesmen would happen. And last night in the subway car I thought the universe had exploded. ALMOST, though. The two men were selling the same product and were in partnership. They got off at the next stop. If they had been selling different products, and if the second man began his sales pitch for his product while the first man was being quiet, we'd all be dead.

Well, bullet dodged. Next time though we might not be so lucky.

Not nearly as entertaining when the Bundang line's Golden Splat Pig man encountered the Green Line's 200 Greatest Hits of the 60's and 70's ajumma at Seollung station. Luckily, the Sweater Shaver man was there to break up the tussle.

Those nut peelers are about the only thing I've ever wanted to buy. But I'm really poor with my hands and suspect there is still some damn trick to using that thingy.
