Of course everybody has different opinions about where the best to live in Seoul is based on what the like and want so I was wondering where the best place to live in Seoul is based off what I'm looking for?
I'm looking for;
a place where there are a lot of bars, pubs, good restaurants and stuff to do.
a place that is not overpriced/too expensive as I read Apgjugeong is.
a place where I will have many opportunities to interact with the people meaning they will come up and talk to you. I read in some places they're much more stuck up/racist and less likely to talk to you than in other places
a place where there is a decent concentration of other fellow teachers
a place that is convenient to all the major activities/interests in Seoul
a place where there are good looking women that are receptive to foreigners.

I might be asking for too much but any guidance would be much appreciated. Based off what I read, it sounds as though shinchon/hongdae/ehwa,Gangnam,Chungdam,hongik are the areas that would suit my needs? Any recommendations for good schools in those areas? Thanks

To have a truly unique and positive experience here in Korea, more like Seoul, it depends more on who you are, not where you are. I came here to this part of Seoul by chance, and met some really amazing people. Sadly, a lot of them are gone or soon will be gone, but the cool thing is that more people always come in. Keep an open mind.

Apgujeong sucks ass, but that is my opinion. People there are too stuck up. Theres nothing really there to be stuck up about, but again, that's my opinion, part of who I am.

Hope you find what you are looking for.
