Is it safe to drive around Korea in an Atoz or a Matiz? Or are they mainly city cars?

I own a Matiz2.

Once could argue that they aren't safe for city driving, either.

They sure are economical, though.

If you are hit by a drunk ajosshi in an expensive car, and your wife dies and you end up with the engine in your lap, remember that you'll probably be the one paying out of your own pocket for the extra damage to the other guy's expensive car not covered by your insurance.

Driving laws are fixed to benefit the rich in Korea.

Korea Sparkling.

Well, actually if he's drunk, you'll be okay. Alcohol changes the game a little, in favor of the sober.

The laws for who pays what are very clear: 60% is paid by the person at fault, 40% is paid by the person not at fault. Which sucks big time if you're not at fault, and have $2000 of damage to your beater car, and he's got $8000 damage to his BMW. You owe $4000 on that deal.

However, there is a way to get out any money you owe, but it comes with a price: You can always just go home.

I have a cell phone contract.

But yes, your point is correct. That IS why we are denied certain things. And as long as I'm denied them, I may as well take advantage of WHY I'm denied them.
