I got my old hard drive back (corrupted with virus). It is in an external case. I plugged it in to my computer and only 2 drives appeared (Backup D) and (HDD F).

Neither of these had any of my files I wanted on.
I installed R-Studio NTFS to scan the disk for more drives.
It found alot...however not all my photographs were found.
I tried to recover the photographs I could find.
Nothing worked...it says it recovered them...there is a folder which hold has them in it now on new drive but no image!!! Very strange. It says a size for each photo 2.3 MB but no image.
The same for the word documents and powerpoints.

Any advice or does anyone know of any other programs I could use to recover files?

Just for the record the Internet is stil not working...ha ha ha

Cheers
