				|
 |
				| ...the word "outlandish?"
It implies that people in other lands, "out-lands," are strange, or crazy. It carries a negative connotation that is tied to foreigners, just like the word 외국.

I for one refuse to ever call anything "outlandish" just because it is strange, unless it really is foreign. And don't get me started on the word "foreign." It implies that something from another is strange to you. I'm offended by that thought.

Jeez, I'm so offended, I'm having trouble remembering why the word 외국 upsets me so much.

				| If any words offend you then it reflects your insecurities towards it.

Nothing should be offensive to you. No matter how rude and vulgar it is.

If a certain persons words get to you then you have to ask yourself why?

Alright I'm not black and I am aware of the history of the word.

But I mean come on, if someone calls you a nigger, they're a moron. Why would you let the opinions of a ignorant dumb-azz effect you?

Say a dude from the Nation of Islam called me a white devil. That's on them for having an idea about me without even knowing me. Screw 'em. Life's too short and too beautiful to let the opinions of someone ruin my day.

Now is these words turn into physical violence, then yeah I got a problem. And this is why we should censor these people in the mainstream.

But personally I could care less. About me......about someone in my family or another loved one, they yeah I got a problem.

Just give me a few hours to think up something else retarded to complain about.

Hey! I could make a thread about how the word "retarded" offends me.

 Nah, too retarded.

				| Actually, the word comes from the surname of Douglas R. Outland, a 19th century philosopher whose opinions were -- in a general sense -- bizzare and totally full of sh*t. | |
