Anybody have any luck being able to teach real business courses, not Business English. For example;Business Communications, Management, Marketing, etc.
I have felt frustrated that the Uni Im at only wants me to teach Business English, even though I have a MBA and 10 years computer business experience.
I know the Korean business students would benefit from real experience vs. book knowledge from the Korean profs.
Advice is appreciated. |

I've been able to teach business courses (have an MBA + M.Ed.) only in Saudi and Thailand. Primarily business in Thailand, and just supplemental courses in Saudi. No chance here though. I suspect that Koreans feel that they are astute enough in the area that they don't need foreigners to teach the topic. Doesn't hurt to keep looking though - biz is a LOT more fun (and interesting) to teach. |
