I'm sure this has already been beaten to death, but the "search" function seems to be having some problems.

What is GEPIK's policy? When is my school supposed to pay me my severance? I thought it was on the before the last day of the contract ... but my coteacher seems to think it's after my last day.

2nd, for further clarification, does anyone have GEPIK's phone #?

Thanks in advance.

I think they can wait up to 15 days after your contract.

Is there a 15 day clause? You'd think they'd pay you money you're owed promptly. I'm sick of my old f'n school dickin' me around with contract-related stuff.

I think it's just labor law and not actually in the contract.

I'm sure you can get an agreement to be paid the day before. Just threaten to use your 15 sick days the two weeks before the end of your contract. Sure they can always back out on the last day even though they agreed, but they'd be embarrassed if you just harassed them all morning until they took you to the bank.
