Hi all,
If anyone out there knows anything about life in Yeonggwang - would love to hear what you think of it. Am currently contemplating a position in a high school out that way.
Any input would be greatly appeciated - thank you! |

...just hoping no one caught this the first time around?
Rather than the thought that no English teachers live there and use Dave's? |

There are no foreigners in Yeonggwang that use Dave's that I'm aware of. Matter of fact there's only a few foreigners down there.
I'm somewhat acquainted with the area. What exactly would you like to know? It's a rural county outside of the city of Gwangju. The main town in Yeonggwang has around 20,000, and will have the baics like convenience stores, a few grocery stores, restaurants, and a couple of banks. Like I said there aren't many foreigners in that county. Most people who live in rural counties in the province go to the nearby cities for fun and/or stick around and do nature stuff at home. Any other questions, let me know. |
