I just got here from Georgia and living with my aunt. I am extremely bored and need something to do. I am of korean decent and was born in america. I speak very good english and very little korean. Is there any jobs I can get? O I just turned 16.

Um, wouldn't you still be a high school student?

You don't need a degree to teach if you have an F4 visa, I guess, but I don't think anyone would hire a 16 year old teacher. I think you're out of luck.

Yeah I kind of dropped out this year. But I'm gonna go back next year to america. For now I am EXTREMELY bored.

How good is your korean exactly???

Seriously though, I'm pretty sure you could get some work tutoring kids in English, just ask your aunt if she has any friends whose kids want some tutoring - shouldn't be a problem. Also, I'm sure familymart is hiring~~

LOL man my aunt has ALOT of income but we live in the poor side of seoul. She doesn't want to move because the church she goes to and her friends are all here. I don't think I wanna teach little kids english for 50 wons an hour.

I remember meeting someone at a place somewhere and he asked me where I am from and I replied the UK. He said ahh, I am from Australia. I naturally responded, well you look very much like a Korean and he finally said that he studied in Australia for 6 months.

Moral of the story. Koreans are blinded by the truth.
