You should be able to order it from Amazon, and they'll ship it to you for as cheaply as any Korean stores can, legally.

If you want to go the illegal route, do a search on this site. This is a VERY VERY frequently asked question.

If you live in East Seoul, Technomart also sells it.

Can I ask if you have a previous version of windows? The upgrade version is cheaper and still legit.

If you don't care about legit, others have suggested how to get it.

If I have a less than legal version of XP, can I just buy the upgrade version instead of the whole thing?
Anyone know?

Bit torrent looks interesting. I'll probably give it look this weekend.

I dl'd office and xp but I'm curious in general about sources for English software here. I'm thinking of buying XP. I bought Zoo Tycoon and dino digs for my wife and found a file online to convert them to English. I bought Rise of Nations for me and haven't been quite so lucky yet. I guess I could dl something from Windows catalogue to enable my pc to display Korean menus and dialogues. At the moment I'm looking at ????? when I load RoN.

Do a search for:
XPProCorp-keyChanger.exe
if you buy an xp copy.

Office XP CD Key Generator.exe
is similar.

Use those things before going to their respective MS update sites and then you can.

I have links somewhere. Post here if you're stuck.

Be careful with the copied versions. They have a lot more security stuff than win 98. You'll need a good crack that microsoft hasn't detected. I have an illegal copy and have had a lot of trouble with it. It works fine now after a lot of work. You shouldn't try to update your files throuogh microsoft. You might end up downloading something that nulifies your crack.

MMM.....didn't read Dalton's post. Try his method if you want but I tried a few of those key generators and they didn't work for me.

The corporate version is the only way to go if you don't want problems. Think of a big company with 1000s of computers, they probably just buy one key as it is easier to use. That kind of key is gold for people who use illegal copies.

I use a legal copy of xp pro - Korean. It is a pain sometimes, but I won't have to worry about using cracks/hacks etc. Whenever I want to update something.

I've re-installed a number of times using that crack with no problems. Just this morning I went to Windows update, did the scan and dl'd a via update. There is a different, more common crack circulating that generates keys but it can take hours to get a useable cdkey. That one sux. I will be reinstalling again tonight just because I like to format my hdd every couple of months or so.
