Hi all,
I just got a WD 320 gig HD in a "Data Station" Sata external box. It's was recognized fine in XP straight away when I connected it and it works well.
But every time I restart it's not present in "My Computer".
So I have to go to My computer/Add new hardware each time to get it to re-appear. The thing is it doesn't even get re-detected, I just select it from the list of connected devices, and XP says "This device is working properly". Then it magically appears in "My computer".
Why is this? Its recognized in the bios fine as the 2nd HD. 
Any help from tech heads appreciated. |
