| I've been wondering for a while why we get all those bad smells from the sewers in Korea while I can't remember anyting like it in Canada, the US, Japan or other places as well. Anyone knows? |

Ols, poorly-built, poorly managed sewer systems.
The same reason you can't flush your s**t-tickets in half the toilets in this country. |

| Yep, the old drainage system, it reminds of Thailand back in 2002. I can't say I got a whiff back in ladyboy land last year. |

another three reasons may include:
...peeing in public isn't taboo, no matter how old you are...
...cleaning up your own dog crap is only required if YOU step in it...
...no need for a garbage when the sidewalk will do just fine... |

| I think it has more to do with garbage than anything else. People don't have garbage disposals so all that food waste ends up in plastic bags rotting in the summer heat. |

New York stinks too, I hear.
It's an old, cobbled-on sewage system that's the problem. |

| My cabbie's halitosis was worse than the stench coming from Seoul sewers. |
