I went grocery shopping for the first time today, and was pretty stunned at the lack of vegetables that were available. There were onions and peppers, and a small assortment of other things, but most of the produce section was comprised of herbs. What's the deal?

Try a fruit market or check out the large selection of Kimchi. I don't but fruit or vegetables from the supermarket.

I don't know where you are located, but you can try Homever. I'm happy with what I can find there and they have nice stuff to make salads. Hope this helps.

It may have been that one particular market. Most of the ones around our place have a good assortment of vegetables.

Thanks for the posts. I went to homever near the Ori stop on the yellow line. I'll try and find some other stores.

You've got it nice in Thailand. Produce there is cheap, plentiful and of high quality.

Just eat any stray dog you can find if you're on a budget, no one will care.
