Hi all
Im a newly arrived Irish ESL teacher in Daejeon. Im looking for something active to do in the city on weekends. Im not the type to go to the gym to keep fit so I'm wondering is there anybody on the forum involved in sporting activities here? maybe a spot of rugby, or a soccer kickaround? I'd also be open to taking up something that I havn't tried before, so if anyone has any suggestions or knows of anything that would be great! |

| There used to be a good ultimate frisbee game that went on at the gov't buildings on the weekends (I'm not sure if it still on though). A group of guys play hoops at TCIS near Hanam University on Sunday afternoon. There is a hockey team that is looking for guys to play. Also a soccer team, but I don't know if they are looking for members or not. There is probably a couple of other groups, but that is what I could think of off the top of my head. |
