I am Gongju bound sometime next month (Mar '0Cool, first time in Korea, any current/past residents wanna share their experiences about people, culture, schools, transport, ladies, fun and more?! Thank you for sharing on Daves'! Its an awesome resourse for me!

I also would like to know about life in Gongju. I will be starting a job there in March. Right now, I live in nearby Daejeon and know that area pretty well. Any info would be appreciated. Cool

Gongju... a quiet small town, divided in half by a river that runs through it.
There is a National University on one side and a National Education University on the other. I think you'd want to be on the side of the National University, as it has more foreigners and more students. I lived on the other side and taught at the Education University... I found it pretty boring. Good luck there.
