Just started work this week. My university said that I have to have this health check done before I get my paycheck witch will be next week. So they want us to get it done this week. We are told that the fee will be 90,000W which from what I read is a little high. We haven't gotten our insurance cards yet and I was wondering if insurance would pay for any of these costs. Anyone done the health check with insurance paying anything?
Also, I think that the holding of my paycheck until I get it done is breaking my contract since it was not mentioned AT ALL(and not in the contract) until we showed up for work on Monday!!

Hi There,
I'd say count yoursself lucky. I was charged just over 100,000 Won and all I got was rudeness from the staff.
It's the new regulation forcing an extra drug test. They also asked me to hand over three passport photos which I disagreed with.
