My co teacher has just left a number of elementary text books on my desk, and has asked me to choose which ones I'm going to work out of for the year. I teaching grades 3,4,5 and 6, so I'd like it very much if someone could let me know which of the books they have found the must interesting to teach from.

Thanks,

Blade.

GOGO Loves English for the lower grades...People will say they hate them but they are just crap un-creative teachers...You can have so much fun with this series...

Also Super Kids is pretty good as well...The teachers manual is awesome cause it gives you loads of fun activities to do...

I found the Boost series to be quite good. I taught Boost Speaking 1 from cover to cover, and enjoyed it (as did the kids), and taught a couple of units from Boost Writing, which also seemed to be interesting.

The texts that I have been asked to choose from include Let's Go, Okey Dokey and English Time. I meant to include the titles in my initial post but for some reason I didn't.

Let's Go is not bad if you have the supplementary materials.
