I have an LG Cyon cell phone with both photo and video functions on it. How do I transfer the photos/vidoes from the cell phone to a computer? What software do I need?

You'll need the data cable, which you can buy at most of the service centers. Then go up to the LG website, you can download the software from there. Good chance it will be in Korean. Mine is in Korean, but if you have used these kind of software before, I think you can manage it.

That being said, try to see if there is a western version of your phone. You may be able to use the software for it instead.

Thanks. I already have the data cable. Now "stupid question" time: does the software go to the phone, the computer, or both? I'm scouring the 'net & the LG site now for the software.

Pick the model from from the drop down lists from your service provider, then click "GO". (ignore the bottom box, with the 'steps')

In the 'LG MOBILE-PC SYNC' box, click "Down", and follow the instructions, which are simple and standard for downloading software onto a PC.

Once the software is installed you can upload your pics to your PC.

Thanks to thebomb for getting the information to me. I just got around to transferring the photos and it works wonderfully. I also needed the information another person posted in a thread about making some sites show up in Korean on a non-Korean computer.

Now all I need to do is find out how to move the following stuff from the phone to the computer:

• Movie clips
  
• Address book
  
• Saved incoming messages
  
• Saved outgoing messages
