Every year most universities seem to shell out to get big name bands to come play during 'MT' (membership training ie. orientation) weeks at the start of the year. They're usually outdoor concerts, and free.

Last year I was happy to catch Crying Nut in Daegu (thanks Mike) and Yoon Do Hyun Band in Busan.

Anyone know of these or other bands playing gigs in the next soon-while, and where they'd be? University students will know, and will have opinions on the bands, so, it's a good topic for breaking the ice at the start of the year, too.
