Whether or not you'd vote for anyone who was busted for drunk-driving (I would), you should find this funny:

http://joongangdaily.joins.com/article/view.asp?aid=2887103

"Despite the criticism from the [United Democratic] party, the nominating committee said the rules will only get stricter.

"We are planning to disqualify anyone caught drunk driving more than three times,"Park Gyeong-cheol, of the party's nomination committee, said yesterday.

What's the penalty for drunk driving in Korea, besides hurting your chances of running for office under the UDP banner?

A lot of times drunk drivers don't get officially punished if they hit someone, they just have to give a stack of cash to the person they hit.
