Does anyone know of any programs where any old joe schmoe can pay cash and go to some kind of school in korea to study Korean on a temproary basis? Like a few months?
Im talking not about peoplem who allready are residing in Korea but people who wish to go there and study.

There are a few options you can look into:

Check out the classified ads in the Times/Herald for free Korean class listings.

Check out Yonsei, Ewha, SNU, Sogang (any other universities?) for their Korean programs. For short term study, they're all about the same in terms of quality. You don't have to sign up for all the levels at once. Just attend as long as you want.

I think one of the major hakwon chains in downtown Jongro offers Korean classes on a month-by-month basis. (YBM?)

Good luck to you.
